Totuu Labs is a website design and development studio. We work with businesses in any industry — a newsroom and a perfume shop need very different sites, but they need the same thinking behind them.
What we think is wrong with most of them
Most business websites were never designed. They were assembled — a theme chosen for a stock photo, sections kept because they came with the template, and copy written to fill a space rather than to answer a question.
The result is a site that is not bad, exactly. It is just not about this business. And a visitor deciding whether to trust you with their money can feel that in a second, which is roughly a second before they read anything.
How we work
Structure before surface
If the argument on the page is wrong, no amount of design rescues it. We agree what each page is for and in what order before anything gets styled — which is also why our projects do not spiral through eleven rounds of revisions.
Fit over fashion
Trends age badly and they age fastest on small business websites, where a rebuild is a real expense. We design for the business you are, not for a portfolio shot, which is why we ask a lot of questions before we start.
Fast is a feature
A beautiful page that takes six seconds on mobile data has already lost the visitor. Speed is not a phase at the end of the project; it constrains what we are allowed to add in the first place.
You should not be locked in
We build on WordPress with Elementor and we hand over the keys, a walkthrough and a site your own team can edit. If you ever want to work with someone else, nothing here is designed to make that painful.
We do not claim what we have not measured
You will not find invented percentages on this site. When we have results we are allowed to publish, with a date and a client's permission, we will publish those instead.
Who you would actually be working with
This is the part of an agency About page that usually carries a stock photograph of a team that does not work there. We would rather leave it honest until the real thing is here.
